This oral history collection comprises 22 interviews, 1 personal recording, 1 Correspondance and 4 Documents of residents and visitors to the region of Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe National Nature Reserve. Interviews were recorded by Joan Barr between 5 January 2000 - 24 February 2000. Interviewees discuss the history of the nature reserve and their hopes for the continued conservation of the region.

Administrative / Biographical History
The project was conducted by English Nature as part of the Millenium events programme. The project sought to involve the local community to reflects on their positive and negative memories of Saltfleetby-Theddlesthorpe, placing the area in its socal context. English Nature also intended to draw out the values that local visitors and neighbours place upon the Nationl Nature Reserve, the surrounding coastal site of special scientific interest and their wildlife. A project book entitled 'Sands of Time' was produced by English Nature including extracts from interviews.
