Nicholas son of John de Ponda confirms to Master John de Ponda, chaplain, and to John's assigns, an annual rent of 4s for life out of certain lands towards 'portam de Igeene'?, lying between lands of the aforesaid John and land of John de Stretton. Reserving annual quit-rent of one 'gariofilum' for all services. The rent is to return to Nicholas and his heirs at John's death. Witnessed by Walter de la Barre then bailiff of the lord king, Nicholas de Ponda senior, John Sweyn, Adam son of Albrede Breton', John Houhelminus, John de Stretton, Richard clerk, and others. Tag, seal wanting. Endorsed in a later hand: 'Anuite'.
