Comprises: (1) Photographs and photocopied photographs of members of the Zerman family, including Francis John Zerman (1858-1950), Evdokiia Zerman (ne Shevkolenkova; 1890-1970), Valentin Shevkolenkov, and Lidiia (1912-1956), Tamara (1911-) and Zinaida (1908-1963) Zerman; (2) Photocopies of F. J. Zerman's military service documents, Rostov-na-Donu, Archangel, England, 1919-1921 and letters to the Foreign Office, London concerning the repatriation of Evdokiia Zerman and her daughters (3, 1920-1921); (3) Photographs and documents relating to Zerman family businesses; (4) Copy of F. J. Zerman's autobiographical notes (1870s-1900s) with supplementary family-history information.

Administrative / Biographical History

The Zerman (Gioramni) family were members of the Italian and British communities in pre-revolutionary Russia, resident latterly in Rostov-na-Donu
