Unpublished screenplays and shooting scripts for film adaptations of Shakespeare plays. Includes West Side Story, 1961 (Directed by Wise & Robbins); King Lear, 1971 (Directed by Brook); Romeo and Juliet, 1968 (Directed by Zeffirelli); As You Like It, 1992 (Directed by Edzard); Othello, 1995 (Directed by Parker); Romeo and Juliet, 1996 (Directed by Luhrmann); Hal (adaptation of Henry IV), 1998 (Directed by Parks); Love's Labours Lost, 1999 (Directed by Branagh); A Midsummer Night's Dream, 1999 (Directed by Hoffman).

The materials have been collected by the Shakespeare Institute Library.
