A book of society verse about Anglesey men with touches of satire, much in the manner of Pope and other poets of the early 18th century. It is of interest as reflecting the habits and obsessions of a certain coterie of Anglesey squires and clergy.

This book was written by an Anglesey man, probably Thomas Owen, Clerk. Nothing is known about him, other than the fact that he moved in the same social circles as those of the gentry of the island.
