A manuscript volume containing various documents relating to slave plantations in Dominica within the British West Indies, including:
- Inventories of negroes on various estates, including lists of men, women, boys, girls and infants, and the increase and decrease over the period, i.e. slaves bought, sold, born or deceased. The inventories were drawn up between 1809 and 1813 at the instigation of George Metcalfe, a senior local politician and former acting Governor;
- Accounts relating to the disposal of the rum crop from various estates, 1809-1812;
- Miscellaneous accounts mostly concerning George Metcalfe, William Anderson and Robert Hindman, 1809-1813.
