Administrative / Biographical History
Konrad Vernon Hopkins was born in 1928 in London, Connecticut, the son of a sailor. It was also during this period that he traveled widely around Europe and whilst in Vienna started to teach English at the Vienna Berlitz School of Languages (1966-1967). Konrad Hopkins came to Scotland in 1967 , when he took up the post of Lecturer in Communication Studies at the University of Paisley (formerly Paisley Technical College ). He retired in 1993.
