Typescript and manuscripts of articles and lecture notes, c.1914-1916.

John George James, was the congregational minister at Enfield and Southsea, c. 1914-1916. He was educated at the University of London, obtaining his MA in Philosophy and Economics in 1897 and DLitt in Philosophy in 1905. He was author of Problems of prayer: a series of sermons (London: Hodder and Stoughton, 1907); The coming age of faith (London: Congregational Union of England, 1912).

These collections now form part of the University's Special Collections Department and are available for consultation at the Main Library on the University's Edgbaston Campus.
