Administrative / Biographical History

The North Wales Expressway, also known as the A55, was built in sections from the 1970's onwards up until the mid 1990's. Most recently, the dual carriageway along Anglesey has been completed making it possible to travel all along the north Wales coast to Holyhead on a continuous dual carriageway.
