Administrative / Biographical History

Kronfeld Limited incorporated in 1 March 1934 as B.A.C. (1935) Ltd and acquired the business of manufacturing the Drone Light Aircraft. It went onto market the Super Drone and Drone de Luxe and also produced a single example of a Kronfeld Monoplane. The company's Managing Director was Austria glider Robert Kronfeld and was based at the London Air Park Feltham. Kronfeld's fellow directors were Lord Sempill, E. C. Gordon England and J. Lowe. The company entered into receivership on 24 September 1937 and the stock and goodwill was purchased by Luton Aircraft.
