Administrative / Biographical History

A F Stoddard & Co Ltd was one of the United Kingdom's leading quality carpet manufacturers. Dating from 1862, the company enjoyed success in domestic and commercial carpet production. It went into receivership in 2005 and liquidation was completed in 2009. For a full administrative history see the main Stoddard International plc collection description.

Arrangement

The records have been arranged within two main series: the design associated records and the corporate archive. Records are arranged chronologically in series within these two main headings.
