Acquisition Information

These papers originally came into the Frow's possession from two different sources. The material relating to Warrington district originally belonged to an official, Mr Seed, and were passed on via Peter Carter. The Manchester material was collected by Mick Jenkins from the widow of Mr A Bywaters in the course of his research on the wiredrawers dispute with Richard Johnson and Nephew Limited
