Scope and Content

Financial records of the organisation [Royal British Legion?] that organised and managed the establishment of memorial crosses for the fallen soldiers of the First and Second World Wars and of the Korean War (1950-1954) who came from Glan Conwy.

Consists of bank statements, correspondence, other financial records of the fund, names of the servicemen to be included on the memorials and a newspaper cutting showing Emlyn Jones, chair of the North West Wales branch of the British Korean Veterans, standing beside the restored memorial for Private Idris Evans who died in combat in 1952.
