Whereas Robert Edwards of King's Lynn, Norfolk, by Indenture dated 26 March 1695 released to Robert Meares of March, Cambridgeshire, certain land in Tydd St Giles and Newton; and whereas Robert Edwards and Rose his wife levied a fine to Robert Meares of Tydd St Giles, son and heir of Robert Meares of March, of the lands in question; Robert Meares junior releases to Henry Knowles of Newton the land in question, except certain land in Newton, to him and his heirs to the use of him and his heirs for ever. Witnesses: Theodore Buckworth, Theodore Buckworth junior, John Dryden. On the back is a receipt for the purchase money signed by Robert Meares. Witnesses: Theodore Buckworth junior, John Dryden.
