Administrative / Biographical History
Rev. William Ernest Taylor was Examination Chaplain in the Diocese of Eastern Equatorial Africa and worked for the Church Missionary Society from 1880 at the Nyanza mission, Mombasa, Giryama and Kisulutini. Rev. Taylor published widely on the gospels and religious texts, and worked on the Swahili language.
