Administrative / Biographical History
The Plas Berw Estate in Llanfihangel Ysgeifiog, Anglesey, north Wales was the ancestral home of the Holland family. In 1723 the estate was in the hands of the Reverend Thomas Holland, rector of Llangeinwen. He had nine children, three with his first wife Elizabeth Hollings of London who died in 1708 and six with his second wife Mary Davies, daughter of Mytton Davies of Llannerch, Flintshire. Reverend Holland died in 1746.
