Administrative / Biographical History
Thomas Lloyd, musician, was born in Liverpool in 1841. He was raised in Dolwyddelan, Caernarfonshire where he became a quarryman, before emigrating to the United States. There he became a music teacher, a conductor and ran a music shop. He is also the composer of several popular songs including, Y Bwthyn Bach To Gwellt. He died in 1909.
