Job Ablet of Gamlingay by virtue of powers vested in him appoints and sells to James Paine of Gamlingay certain property in Gamlingay for the term of a thousand years at a peppercorn rent, provided that should Job Ablet pay to James Paine a certain sum by a certain date the appointment is void. Job Ablet also assigns to James Paine the Insurance Policy whereby the premises are insured against fire. Witnessed by George Pedley and Elizabeth Cooper. On the back is a receipt for the sum mentioned paid him by James Paine, subscribed by Job Ablet. Further receipts for interest due appear on the back, dated 19 May 1815, 11 June 1816, 22 May 1820.
