Custodial History
The new school was opened on 27 August 1956 with eight class rooms. A total of 232 children were on the school roll comprising 57 new entrants and the remainder transferred from Lairdsland and Townhead schools in Kirkintilloch. In 2019 the school capacity was 232 and the roll stood at 132 pupils.
