At a previous court it was presented by homage that Rachel Howel died seised of a cottage in Churchstreete and by her will left it to George Howel. George Howel came to court and was admitted tenant. Afterwards he surrendered the property for the use of Richard Funston, who was admitted tenant. Subscribed by Sir Thomas Petit, Steward of the Manor
