Administrative / Biographical History
Oliver Erichson Janson (1850-1926) was especially interested in beetles (Coleoptera). He worked in a business set up in London by his father, Edward Wesley Janson (1822-1891), trading natural history specimens, particularly insects.

Manuscripts can be consulted on appointment only. The Museum of Zoology is open Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 17:00 pm. Access and reproduction is at the discretion of the Archivist.
