This collection comprises microfilmed duplicate copies of records from within Flintshire Record Office collections and material held elsewhere relating to Flintshire. Major components of the collection are the microfilmed copies of local Newspapers, Flintshire and Denbighshire Parish Records, Census Returns (from originals held at the National Archives. Kew) and Bishops' Transcripts (from originals held at the National Library of Wales). Transcripts of many parish records (especially pre-1812) are also available, and many of these sources have now also been digitised, and are available as online sources.
