Scope and Content

Assignment by William Bromley of Gray's Inn, gent and Charles Clubbe esq of Framlingham, Suffolk of three leases for 300 years, 2,000 years, and 1,000 years created in premises at Hale Fen, Coveney and Witcham, in trust to John Curtis and Edmund Alexander Wilson gents, of Montagu St, Portman Square. This at the request of Rosalinda Foss, late of Stockwell, Surrey, but now of Muswell Hill, Middlesex, Capt John Thompson RN and his wife Maria, of Connaught Square, Middlesex - Foss and Maria Thompson being the co-heiresses of the late Daniel Hamiul of St Marylebone - and with the privity of Augustus Robert Hankey of Fenchurch St, banker, and Thomas Law Hodges esq of Hempstead Place, Kent, late creditors of Hamiul. 3 pages, signed and sealed by Hankey, Hodges, Foss, both Thompsons, Bromley, and Clubbe, endorsed as entered in the Bedford Level Company Register on 24 Oct 1828, duty stamps.
