Philip Thomas (1857-1938), Neath, was a teacher and musician. He competed in and adjudicated at local eisteddfodau and other musical events and conducted cymanfaoedd canu. He was secretary of Bethlehem Green Calvinistic Methodist Chapel, Neath, and was General Secretary of the National Eisteddfod of Wales, Neath, 1918.
