Administrative / Biographical History

Frederick Howard Newth was educated at Dulwich College, London and the University of Birmingham, 1941-1946. He was awarded a BSc in Chemistry in 1944 and a PhD in 1946. He was a recipient of the Frankland Medal and Prize in 1943. He was employed as a Lecturer in Chemistry at the the University College of North Wales, Bangor (1951)
