This collection consists of lecture and research notes, articles and offprints by Professor Glyn Roberts on various aspects of the history of Wales, including in particular material on Welsh parliamentary and borough history; religious history; the history of Bangor and Carmarthenshire. Some material is in the hand of Mrs Eluned Garmon Jones who also took an active interest in the history of Bangor. Also contains maps, plans, microfilm and slides.
The collection also includes theses on Welsh history by Professor Glyn Roberts and by sisters Mary Davida Hughes and Carys Hughes, his first and second wives. Also contains a file of correspondence, working papers and drafts etc relating to a proposed County History of Anglesey to have been published by the Anglesey County Council which did not come to fruition, (Glyn Roberts was chairman of the editorial board) and research notes on the Griffith family of Penrhyn done for his contribution to the Dictionary of Welsh Biography(1959).
