Walter Yeeling Evans-Wentz (1878-1965), Fellow of Jesus College, Oxford, was an anthropologist.

Acquisition Information
The manuscripts were bequeathed to the Library by Evans-Wentz, with his papers (now in the Department of Special Collections and Western Manuscripts, Bodleian Library) and artefacts (now on loan to the Ashmolean Museum) in 1965.
