Administrative / Biographical History
The brig Hornet of Beaumaris, north Wales, was owned by Andrew Gibb of Penmon, Anglesey, a mason and Hugh Hughes of Bangor Ferry, a blacksmith; its master was William Jones. The brig Harrys, also of Beaumaris, was owned by Thomas Gray of Cichle, Anglesey and William Nichol of Whitehaven, Cumberland, a mariner; its master was Henry Williams.
