Administrative / Biographical History

Cardwells and Johnsons Farms were occupied from 1895 to 1919. Manor Farm was rented in 1914, purchased between 1919 and 1930 and sold in 1940, when the donor's family moved to Ashbrook Farm, Blewbury, Berkshire

Farm size, etc: Cardwells Farm: 200 acres; Manor Farm: 365 acres; all of the farms with the exception of Manor Farm were rented
