Scope and Content

Thomas Sparrowe, gent., of Isleham, Cambs., and Elizabeth his wife, with Thomas Clarke, ironmonger, of Bury St. Edmunds, and Elizabeth his wife, agree that before the end of Mich. Term next, at the charges of John Gates, yeoman, they will levy at the Court of Common Pleas, Westminster one or more fines sur conuzance de droit...for assurance of lands in Fordham to the use of John Gates. Signed by Thomas and Elizabeth Sparrowe and Thomas and Elizabeth Clarke. Witnessed by George Balls and John Greene. Four seals attached.
