Indenture. Edward Shettleworth of Writtle sells to John Sawen of Little Waltham, Essex, certain lands in Writtle, to him and his heirs for ever to the only use of him and his heirs for ever. If Edward Shettleworth pays to John Sawen a certain sum by a certain date, the agreement is to be void. Till default is made, Edward Shettleworth is to remain in possession. Witnesses: Henry Cramp, John Wade, Mathew Shettleworth, John Wade.
