Fulk de Vallibus and his wife Joan confirm their gift to Luke de Poning, to Luke's wife Hawis, and to Luke's heirs, of a tenement in Withmondford [Wormingford, Essex?], formerly held by Robert Agwyllim, reserving yearly rent of a pair of white gloves to the value of one penny, or of one penny, owed by Fulk and Joan to the capital lords of the fee for all services. To be held of Fulk, Joan, and their heirs. Hawis, should she survive her husband, may not then dispose of the property. Witnessed by Master John le Breton, Master Ralph de Boxsted, Master Hugh de Crepping, Robert de Ried, William G'nny, Robert le Palmer, Robert de Crepsend, Philip son of Philip (?), Stephen Totus [or Cotus], Ralph le Wep'te, John son of William, Adam de Stinton, Roger Watmod', and others. Tagged pendant brown round seal with armorial device (damaged). Second tag and seal wanting. Endorsement by seventeenth-century notary: 'Fulco de Vallibus Johanna uxor / Lucas de Ponyng Hawisia / vxor / Withmundeford Suff'.
