Mr Schwabe died at Glyn Garth mansion in his 54th year. His demise was universally lamented, as irrespective of his domestic virtues and accomplishments, which had endeared him to all with whom he had become acquainted, his charities were numerous, and bestowed liberally and without the slightest approach to ostentation, and his services to the country, as a magistrate, were generally appreciated. In politics, we believe, Mr Schwabe was considered a Liberal. It was only a few years since he purchased the cottage at Glyn Garth, and the princely mansion which he has erected on its site, is a monument to his taste and munificence. Mr Schwabe left a widow and seven children, the eldest about 14 years of age. instance has already occurred. At the weekly meeting, on Monday last, of the Mr Schwabe was treasurer of the committee of the Royal Lunatic Hospital and on the council of the Manchester School of Art (late the School of Design) where he was a liberal and constant promoter and benefactor.
