In 1988, the Gallery began producing guides as part of a Gallery development programme to incorporate information about publications, exhibitions, lectures and events. It is available for free to visitors in the Gallery, mailing-list members and is also despatched nationwide to external institutes. Intially published quarterly, the guides are now published three times a year. From June 2010, the guides are titled 'What's On'.
