Comprises a wooden figure of a member of the Corps des Pages, used as a place marker at an annual ball, Brussels, 1937, a newspaper cutting about a Corps des Pages meeting, 1977, Anne Purvis's notes about H. S. Pearce, and negatives of photographs of the above wooden figure

Administrative / Biographical History

H. S. Pearce (died ca. 1970) is reputed to have been in the British diplomatic or military service and to have been married to a Russian, with whom he escaped from Russia via the Black Sea and Constantinople after the October Revolution
