366 folios: (fos 1-150) commonplace under alphabetical titles from 'Baile' to 'Tythes', based on printed sources, c. 1720; (fos 153-189) reports of what appear to be cases at Westminster, though written in the manner of moots, c. 1720; (fos 203-360v) more commonplace, but in no particular order; (2 fos, loose) report of the attorney-general v. Ramsay and Crawford regarding customs duties; (2 fos, loose) 'Time and place necessary circumstances attending all human actions', a note in the same hand as the last item and possibly continued from it. Inside the front cover is a 19th century insertion, 'Loddington' (there is a similar inscription in MS.Add.5949).
