Copy letters between George Smith, clerk to Cowley's Charity, Donington, and the Secretary of Holland County Council Education Committee, 26 and 28 February 1919, concerning a scheme put forward by the Governors of Donington Grammar School for building new elementary schools and adapting the present buildings for use as secondary schools; also reporting the appointment of four representatives of the governors to confer with the Education Committee, including Professor Swinnerton; copy letters sent to Professor Swinnerton on 3 March 1919.
Also, two letters sent by George Smith to Professor Swinnerton on 10 and 11 May 1919, enclosing a copy letter from the Secretary of Holland County Council Education Committee, notifying Swinnerton of a meeting of the Holland County Educational Schemes Sub-Committee to be held in Spalding on 16 May.
The papers contain no information about the pupils or curriculum of the school.
