Scope and Content

Deeds and documents relating to lands and messuages in the parish of Llanllechid and the village of Bethesda, Caernarfonshire e.g. Coed Quarry. Some lands belonged to the Cefnfaes Estate, Bethesda.

Also, a history of the missionary school in Coetmor Bethesda and a poem entitled John Griffith y Gors by Gaerwydd Pritchard.

No biographical information was available at time of compilation of description regarding Mrs Eluned Wanhill. However, it is apparent that she had some connection with the University College of North Wales and with the village of Bethesda in Caernarfonshire.
