In July 1901, the Special Committee on Architect, which had been established the previous year to consider and report on the appointment of an architect for the new buildings for the Glasgow and West of Scotland Technical College, was reconstituted as the Building Committee and charged with carrying out the building scheme.
The Special Committee on Architect was established in October 1900 to consider and report on the appointment of an architect for the new buildings for the Glasgow and West of Scotland Technical College. In July 1901, it was reconstituted as the Building Committee.
