The earliest deeds, [c. 1668]-1750, have no obvious link to the Brewer family, unless Cecilia, the daughter of George Morgan who made his will in 1750, is also Cecilia (1745-1816), wife of John Brewer ([c. 1743]-1813) of Newport, surgeon. The remaining deeds, 1828-1883, are mainly marriage settlements, and appointments of new trustees to the settlements. Most of the remaining papers are the personal papers of individual members of the family, mainly certificates relating to the medical educations of members of the Brewer family, 1864-1872. There are also portraits and a photograph album, [19th century]-[20th century].
