This eclectic collection, purchased from music journalist and cultural historian Jon Savage in 2002, documents the history of the Sex Pistols and the whole of the punk era. Jon Savage collected the material over many years, and used the collection extensively to write England's Dreaming: Sex Pistols and Punk Rock

England's Dreaming: Sex Pistols and Punk Rock was first published in 1991, and has been described as the definitive history of Punk. The majority of the source materials for this book are held within England's Dreaming: The Jon Savage Archive
