Administrative / Biographical History

William Denton Mather was born in Sheffield in 1896 and educated at Sheffield University. As a Corporal, 8th (Pioneer) Battalion, Oxford and Buckinghamshire Light Infantry, he served in Salonika and Macedonia from February 1917.
