This small collection contains a notebook on lectures on Welsh poetry and grammar conducted by Sir John Morris Jones and attended by John Richard Williams during his time as a student at the University College of North Wales, 1910. Also, examination papers, letters and a programme of the Anglesey Monthly Meeting (Calvinistic Methodists), September 1919.

Administrative / Biographical History
Rev. John Richard Williams, B.A. of Beaumaris was educated at the Beaumaris Grammar School and at the University College of North Wales, 1909 - 1913. He received his degree in Welsh in 1913 and was ordained in 1922. He was a missionary in India until 1930 when he returned to Wales and where he continued to preach until his death in 1973. He was often seen preaching in the town square in Llangefni, Anglesey on a market day.

The collection has been incorporated into the General Collection of Bangor Manuscripts and arranged chronologically.
