The Rev. John David Jones (1871-1931), was Choral Vicar of St Asaph Cathedral, 1897-1900, Vicar of Llanfaes and Penmon, Anglesey, 1900-1913, Vicar of St Mary's, Bangor, Caernarfonshire, 1913-1923, and Vicar of St Peter's Aberdyfi, Merionethshire, 1923-1931. He married Maud Lucy Jones (née Luxmoore) (d. 1942) in 1899. They had three daughters, Eve, Lilian and Monica.
