Athletics programmes and printed publications collected by Wilf Morgan during the course of his athletics career. The collection includes a number of athletics programmes detailing events held in the Midlands as well as some European Championships, World Championships and Olympic Games. Wilf Morgan is listed as a competitor in some programmes. In addition, the collection includes a small number of printed publications comprising club and event histories, Olympic Games reports; an undated IAAF directory; and a medal and badge awarded to Wilf Morgan as a veteran athlete.

Administrative / Biographical History
Wilf Morgan was born on 19 June 1935. During his athletics career he was associated with both Lozells Harriers and Birchfield Harriers. He was a prolific veteran athlete and competed over various distances including 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m and the relay. He primarily competed at the 400m and 800m distances. He achieved gold medals at various British, European and World Masters meetings. Further details available in the deposit file.
