Whereas Dr Charles Bayles Broadley of the University of Cambridge [Trinity College] is indebted to James Peters and James Cranwell Peters of Cambridge in a certain sum; Charles Bayles Broadley for the better securing payment sells to James Peters and James Cranwell Peters the effects and things belonging to him now in the custody of James Peters and James Cranwell Peters; provided that if Charles Bayles Broadley pay the sum with interest by a certain date the conveyance is to be void; Charles Bayles Broadley covenants to pay the sum; provided that if default is made James Peters and James Cranwell Peters may sell the goods. A schedule of eighteen articles follows. Witness: N. C. Williams. Two seals are attached.
