Papers of, or relating to, the Manley family of Manley Hall, parish of Erbistock, co. Denbigh, 1698-1904, mainly comprising genealogical extracts, accounts, and correspondence, including an extract from a letter, c. 1810, of Sir Christopher Cole, recounting his part in the capture of the Banda Islands from the Dutch. Also included are letters from Sir Arthur H. D. Acland (2) 1887-91, Sir Henry Hatton, 13th earl of Winchilsea (1) 1902, and George Fitz-Roy Henry Somerset, 3rd baron Raglan (1, to Sir Henry Vincent) 1904.
