Apprenticeship records

The collection contains apprenticeship indentures, an employment reference and progress reports. The collection consists of two series: the apprenticeship records of Albert William Causton and those of Walter Thomas Orton.

Albert William Causton

Contains an indenture of apprenticeship with F. G. Smith (Motors) Ltd (automobile retailers), and a letter regarding a reference for the Air Ministry.

Walter Thomas Orton

Contains an indenture of apprenticeship with F. W. Berwick & Co. Ltd (motoring manufacturers), and three progress reports.
