Administrative / Biographical History

John Hiatt occupied Six Ash Farm in 1865. It was farmed by the Hiatt family until 1947. They also owned drapery businesses in nearby towns

Farm size: 90 acres; stone mash soils; tenants to a Mr. Collison, a Birmingham builder
