Administrative / Biographical History

Harry Jones (1840-1936) was a gold miner and Canadian MP. Born in Caernarfonshire, he emigrated to the Cariboo region of British Columbia, Canada, where gold had been discovered in 1858. He represented the Cariboo district in the Canadian parliament as a Liberal, 1903-[1909].
